Acer palmatum ‘Skeeters Broom’ is a very popular dwarf Acer noted for its upright, slender habit and its lively display of red-toned foliage which moves through various shades as the seasons progress. The foliage is fine-textured, with leaves that are deeply lobed with long, slender leaflets. The leaves emerge bright red in spring, turn deep burgundy during the summer, and then finish the season with a blaze of ruby red in autumn. Acers are slow growing and make ideal specimens for small gardens and containers where they provide multiple seasons of interest. Height and spread: 150cm (59in) to 250cm (98in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
