Alcea ficifolia Rosea
Height x Spread: 120cm x 60cm
Large pink hollyhock flowers with a darker pink (almost red) eye are held on tall stems in the summer. This form of hollyhock has a palmate leaf which is resistant to rust.Â
An iconic cottage garden plant, place it at the back of a border for dramatic impact and vertical interest, but hide its lower bare stems with other plants. Â Cuts well for arrangements too. Â It will thrive in a free-draining soil and a sunny position.
Available for Mail Order from April – August
