Alchemilla erythropoda
Height x Spread: 30cm x 20cm
Charming sprays of bright, lime green flowers adorn this little clump-forming plant in summer. Overall very tidy in appearance, it is as much valued for its light green divided leaves that capture rain drops as the delightful flowers. Â
Like Alchemilla mollis, it can cope with a variety of conditions, but being smaller in scale suits rock gardens and small containers very well. Â Alternatively use it as neat ground cover or to edge a path, but plant it where you can enjoy its gentle grace. Â An added bonus is its tawny-orange autumnal foliage. Â It thrives in most soils and is happy in sun or part-shade.
