This has to be the best blue columbine available, with its delicate flowers held on strong stems high above the blue-green foliage.

A plant for sun to part shade in a reasonable soil, it mixes well with yellows and whites. It is easy to grow and can self seed a bit, but that is part of their charm. Just remove any unwanted seedlings. The original plants are short lived, lasting perhaps 4 seasons.
