Aquilegia vulgaris var. stellata ‘Christa Barlow’ (Barlow Series)
Height x Spread: 75cm x 30cm
This Aquilegia produces eye-catching, rounded bobbles of dark purplish-blue, double flowers in late spring that gently nod above mounds of pale green deeply divided foliage.Â
‘Christa Barlow’ looks rather delicate, but is actually quite robust and easy to grow. Â Plant it where its elegant form can be best enjoyed, such as popping out of a border towards the front or combined with late spring bulbs. Â It prefers sun or part shade, and any reasonable soil. Â
Harmful if eaten.
