Buddleja Davidii ‘Miss Ruby’

One of the truest of the red varieties, Buddleja davidii ‘Miss Ruby’ is a relatively new cultivar that proved particularly popular at RHS Wisley’s buddleja trials. From midsummer, the fat, magenta-red flower spikes attract clouds of butterflies to their scented blooms, and provide plenty of colour right through to autumn. This medium sized shrub is ideally proportioned for smaller gardens and suitably showy too. Better still, this deciduous shrub is virtually sterile so you won’t be troubled with unwanted seedlings.
