This white form of the well loved Marsh Marigold is equally attractive in Spring. Each white, cup shaped flower has a central boss of golden stamens that will attract insects to their rich source of nectar. This hardy, clump forming perennial is less prolific in flower than Caltha palustris, its Golden cousin; but once mature, it reliably produces a second flush later in the year. Caltha palustris var. alba makes a lovely choice for adding spring colour to the margins of ponds and streams. Height: 22cm (9″). Spread: 30cm (12″). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 10cm below water level.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
