Colocasia Esculenta ‘Black Magic’

A real show stopper! Heart shaped, velvety black foliage on jet black stems makes a dramatic display. Colocasia esculenta ‘Black Magic’ is a stunning tender perennial for moist or boggy soils. From midsummer it produces yellow flowers among the architectural foliage. This imposing plant makes a majestic specimen for exotic gardens, or planted at the edge of indoor pools. If grown outside, Colocasia esculenta ‘Black Magic’ should be lifted in autumn when the foliage dies back, and stored in damp sand or peat in a frost free position over winter. Height: 100cm (39″).
