Dianthus Deltoides ‘Maiden Pink’

Dianthus deltoides ‘Maiden Pink’ produces masses of single crimson, pink or white flowers over mats of fine, evergreen foliage. Forming spreading, cushiony mounds, it’s perfect for tucking between rocks, paving cracks or on the top of walls. It also makes a neat, drought-tolerant specimen for a pot on a sunny patio. Dianthus ‘Maiden Pink’ produces a prodigious quantity of flowers in late spring and then sporadically throughout the summer with the nectar-rich blooms providing a banquet for pollinators. This easy-care, long-flowering perennial is a superb performer in hot, dry sunny sites with poor soil. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 15-20cm (6-8in).
