Geranium ‘Anne Thomson’
Height x Spread: 50cm x 75cm
Bold magenta flowers with a distinctive black eye and veining, vividly contrast with the young yellow-green foliage. Â Â
From the same parental stock as G. ‘Ann Folkard’, it shares a lot of its traits but G. ‘Anne Thomson’ is neater and less likely to slouch around your border. Â Flowering its socks off from mid summer into late autumn, when the foliage turns red, it really packs a punch and will lift a tired bed over the late summer ‘slump’. Â Short of space? Â It makes a great container plant too for a sunny terrace. Â Undemanding, it prefers a moist soil, with some drainage in full sun or part shade.Â
