Geranium macrorrhizum ‘Ingwersen’s Variety’ is the perfect solution to dry shade, easily colonising difficult areas beneath trees and shrubs with its rooting stems to form bright green cushions of aromatic leaves. In early summer, it bears mauve buds which open to soft pink flowers with long stamens which are held upright on long stems. Reblooming may occur in summer and in autumn the leaves turn red and orange. Winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit. Attractive to pollinating insects. Height: 40cm (16”). Spread: 60cm (24”).
