Going by the common name of Summer Snowflake, this pretty marginal aquatic bears solitary white blooms at the leaf axils. Its upright stems support linear, green foliage with toothed edges, creating a pleasing backdrop to the summer blooms. Gratiola officinalis enjoys boggy soil and very shallow watery margins making it useful for disguising the edges of ponds. Height and spread: 30cm (12″). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 5cm (2″) below water level.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
