Heuchera Firefly

Most heucheras are not grown for their flowers, but Heuchera ‘Firefly’ is an exception. In early summer it produces generous panicles of bright scarlet flowers which hover on airy stems above a neat mound of slightly marbled, scalloped green leaves. Invaluable for edging shady borders or underplanting shrubs, Heuchera ‘Firefly’ is an old variety which is tougher than many of its modern relatives, tolerating some direct sun. Height: 50cm (20”).  Spread: 45cm (18”).
