Heuchera ‘Lime Marmalade’

The ruffled, acid green foliage of Heuchera ‘Lime Marmalade’ really glows on gloomy days, cheering up dingy spots. This variety is slightly more tolerant of sun than other lime green cultivars, but it’s really most useful for those dry, shady spots where its colour can be complemented with blue or purple woodland flowers such as Pulmonaria ‘Blue Ensign’ or for foliage contrast, plant some feathery ferns like ‘Fantastic Ursula’s Red’ alongside.  For a really stunning contrast, pair it with a dark purple Heuchera, such as Plum Pudding. ‘Lime Marmalade’ forms a neater, denser cushion than other lime green varieties and is also wonderful for brightening pots in shady corners. In summer, bears small white flowers on wiry stems. Height: 40cm (16″). Spread: 45cm (18″).
