A bushy, dense, fully hardy, evergreen shrub that makes a superb altenative to Box. Lonicera nitida ‘Lemon Beauty’ is grown for its small, glossy-green leaves, margined lemon-yellow, which cloak the arching, supple branches. Creamy white, tubular flowers emerge from the leaf axils in April and May followed by pale purple berries which remain on the stems into autumn. Ideal planted as a low growing hedge or edging. Alternatively, grow in a patio container, as a topiary plant, or as a ground cover shrub in the border. Height and spread: 1m (3′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
