Phormium Tenax ‘Variegatum’

A robust architectural plant with a flash of gold, evergreen Phormium tenax ‘Variegatum’ (New Zealand Flax) is low maintenance and easy to grow, providing year round interest with its long, upright variegated leaves. Over time this reliable and hardy RHS AGM variety forms a substantial plant and makes a fantastic focal point throughout the year. Use this sun-loving plant to create a contrast in mixed borders, as a feature in gravel gardens or as part of a Mediterranean themed design.
