With a growth rate of only 1 or two inches a year (3 – 5 cm), this dwarfing Norway spruce is in no hurry to reach its full size, making it perfect for alpine gardens and rockeries where it will slowly spread. Picea abies ‘Nidiformis’ grows comfortably in full sun and can be used as a backdrop for other more colourful plants, not that the fresh green needles in spring aren’t attractive in their own right! As the foliage slowly turns to a more olive green during the year, this evergreen shrub will continue to provide interest in your garden, wherever it is planted! Height: 150cm (59″). Spread 400cm (157″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
