A lovely plant for a partly-shaded, woodland-type border. From May to July, Polemonium ‘Heaven Scent’ bears purple-violet bell-shaped, highly fragrant flowers with bright golden anthers. The flowers nod above pretty foliage which emerges dark bronze to purple in spring, forming a lovely complement to the blooms. The foliage matures to dark green and is composed of leaflets arranged in an attractive ladder-like pattern, earning it the nickname ‘Jacobs Ladder’. A charming addition to a late spring border which will go on flowering until mid-summer. Try pairing it with Heuchera, Pulmonaria and Brunnera. Attractive to beneficial pollinators. Height and spread: 30-50cm (12-20in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
