This clump forming Cinquefoil creates a mound of attractive, low growing foliage. Each leaf is divided into three distinct lobes, and covered in fine, silky hairs that forms a beautiful silvery sheen. From June to August, golden, saucer-shaped blooms with coral-orange eyes are borne in abundance. Potentilla atrosanguinea var. argyrophylla is a resilient hardy perennial tolerating poor soils, and providing superb ground cover for sunny borders, alpine gardens and rockeries.
