Potentilla recta ‘Warrenii’ is an undemanding, pretty perennial which enjoys freely draining soils in sun. Its relaxed habit suits informal gardens where it will inject a splash of sulphur yellow into the front of a sunny border. It will happily colonise difficult dry banks and gravelly or rocky ground, being drought resistance once established. From late spring to late summer, Potentilla recta ‘Warrenii’ produces loose sprays of 2.5cm wide, saucer-shaped, canary-yellow flowers held on erect stems above strawberry-shaped, toothed leaves. Looks stunning partnered with blue-themed, dry-loving plants such as Anchusa azurea ‘Dropmore’ or Eryngiums. Attractive to pollinating insects. Height & Spread: 60cm (24”).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
