Also known as ‘Painted Daisies’, these brightly coloured perennials are useful for injecting borders with a shot of vivid colour in May and June and have a long tradition as florist’s flowers, with their long stems and long-lasting blooms. Pyrethrum coccineum ‘James Kelway’ is a particularly choice colour selection, with erect stems of crimson-red flowers with yellow centres above clumps of ferny foliage. The flowers are highly attractive to pollinators. They work well as massed plantings in the front or middle of cottage-style borders. Height: 60cm (24”) Spread: 50cm (20”).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
