Rhododendron ‘Ramapo’ is a particularly tough variety, hardy in very low temperatures, and even tolerating full sun. The mauve flowers appear from April above attractive blue-green foliage which remains evergreen in winter. This American bred dwarf hybrid has a neat, compact habit that forms and spreading mound. Given its resistance to heat, this variety will happily grow in sunny acid borders where other rhododendrons would fail to thrive. Height: 75cm (30″). Spread: 120cm (48″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
