Rudbeckia Triloba ‘Prairie Glow’

The rusty colours of Rudbeckia ‘Prairie Glow’ provide a valuable addition to the autumn palette. From July to October, long, dark stalks are topped with branching sprays of small, daisy-like flowers in subtly differing coppery-red shades with yellow edges. Each flower is crowned with a contrasting chocolate-brown central cone. Although a short-lived perennial, flowers are borne over a long period and the colour range is distinctively different from most other perennials. As with other rudbeckias, it’s attractive to pollinating insects and good for cutting. Height: 1m (40”)  spread: 70cm (28”).
