Inject late season colour into shady corners with these gorgeous new Japanese woodland saxifrages. Years of dedicated breeding have resulted in the late flowering ‘Dancing Pixies’ series, which commence flowering in September and continue throughout autumn – offering colour just when you and the garden needs a lift. Masses of delicate, starry flowers with sparkling yellow centres dance above neat rosettes of deep green leaves, which set off the flowers beautifully. The dark, heavily scalloped leaves make this a a striking foliage plant even when not in flower.
Saxifraga ‘Dancing Pixies’ is superbly versatile. Plant them in shady borders with hostas, heucheras and astilbes and they will illuminate drab areas at a time when most other shade-lovers have ceased their spring flowering. Or use them as sparkling feature plants for a container in a dull spot. ‘Dancing Pixies’ even makes a lovely, autumn-flowering houseplant and a perfect seasonal gift for plant lovers. Height and Spread: 15-25cm (6” to 10”).
Saxifraga Dancing Pixies Collection comprises of the following varieties:

- Saxifraga Dancing Pixies ‘Tally’ – flamboyant, reddish-pink flowers with contrasting white stamens
