A familiar sight across Britain’s waterways, Typha latifolia is the Common Bulrush. This large, vigorous species produces tall, strap-like foliage and upright flowers stems reaching heights of 2.4m (94″). The distinctive, chocolate brown, cigar-shaped blooms make as attractive sight and remain intact throughout the winter, long after the foliage has died back. Typha latifolia is a hardy native perennial that makes an excellent marginal aquatic for lakes and very large ponds. Height: 240cm (94″). Spread: 150cm (59″).
